In 2001, the Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Winthrop Hospital (CCFK) first opened its doors. Its mission: to provide the best possible chance of recovery and cure through superior medical care, constant nurturing and unconditional support in an environment that promotes healing and meets the complex challenges of children’s cancers and blood disorders.

That same year, the CCFK held its first Walk, a fundraising event that has grown steadily every year since its inception.

For the last 18 years... we have helped families cope, have hope, and heal.

For the last 18 years... we have been running and walking....paying homage to the battles each of our children face...recognizing their strength and courage along the way.

For the last 18 years... you, our trusted friends and community, have helped us to raise funds at our annual Walk, so that the CCFK could continue to provide hope and healing to every child and family treated there.

We still need your help!

For this year's Family Walk, we hope that you will be inspired to help us reach or exceed a goal of $50,000, to help the CCFK meet its annual needs to sustain psycho-social services like Child Life, Social Work, Music Therapy, Child Psychology and other emotional support programs.

Your support today will not only help us to positively impact young lives...but to change them for a lifetime.
