NYU Winthrop Athletic Training & Sports Medicine

NYU Winthrop Hospital’s Athletic Training and Sports Medicine program is committed to providing the highest level of quality care and education to the communities that we serve.  From its enception, the Athletic Training program has been embedded in the local communities educating the residents on numerous sports medicine related topics.

The Sports Medicine program, now in its eighth year, supports local teams including the Long Island Rough Riders, Adelphi University and 18 secondary schools.  Athletic Trainers are known as Healthcare provider’s that work with the physically active population. Athletic Trainers provide practice and game day healthcare, assessment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

As a parent, athlete, coach, or Athletic Trainer we face day to day challenges in participation of sport. However on September 22nd, the wins and losses do not matter, as we all unite together as a T.E.A.M. for a great cause.

Together Everyone Achieves More and on September 22nd let's show our support and courage to our Hero's!
